5 Finger Breathing Technique
Looking for a simple and engaging way to practice mindfulness with your little ones? Try the 5 Finger Breathing Technique!?
Here’s how it works:
1️⃣ Stretch out one hand so that you have space between your fingers, and hold up your pointer finger from your other hand.
2️⃣ Using your pointer finger, trace up the side of your thumb as you breathe in slowly through your nose.
3️⃣ When you get to the top of your thumb, slowly exhale through your mouth as you trace down the other side of your thumb.
4️⃣ Continue this pattern for all five fingers, moving your pointer finger up and down each finger on your hand. Breathe in through your nose as you go up and exhale through your mouth as you go down.
